Thrive Rehab presents a full day face-to-face workshop that aims to empower occupational therapists with OT specific assessments and interventions to address occupational sexuality & intimacy with their clients.
This workshop is suitable for Occupational Therapists.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided.
PRICE STANDARD: $440 (inclusive of GST) per person

Anita Brown-Major (she/her) is an occupational therapist who works with individuals to address their sexual health needs. Anita has completed extensive research in the field of disability and sexuality throughout her 25-year career.
Sarah Palexas (they/she) leads our clinical team at Thrive Rehab, an LGBTQIA+ and neuro-divergent affirming, sex positive practice.
Sarah holds strong core values of being client-centered, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and co-creating safe therapeutic relationships. Sarah is passionate about advocacy that centers the client's own voice, needs and priorities.
Sarah takes the responsibility seriously to be responsive to and respectful of every individual, and their unique health and life journey.
Ally (she/her) is an Occupational Therapist at Thrive Rehab. Ally's work centres around empowering people with Intellectual Disabilities to explore and achieve their sexuality goals. Ally is a strong advocate for dismantling taboo and stigma, and constantly considers how intersecting identifies are impacted by these factors.
Kate (she/her) is an Occupational Therapist who started her professional career in East Gippsland working with rural communities and individuals to access safe and accessible allied health services. Kate’s current work is centred on sexuality and intimacy and supporting people with disabilities to gain equal access to safe, meaningful engagement and expression of sexuality.
